Habbit is an immersive learning platform that connects enthusiastic mentors and learners through live mentorship and engaging learning experiences. It was founded in September 2020 by BITS Pilani grads Somnath Sandeep and Raghav Goyal.
Somnath Sandeep, Co-Founder of Habbit, stated of the breakthrough, “In a world rich with content and consumption, what is scarce is engagement and connection through live mentoring and community forming.” Our business concept is gaining traction, and our learners, particularly college students, working professionals, and homemakers, are eager to immerse themselves in our live learning experience and communities.”
We’ve grown our community to 5,000+ learners and performed 400+ learning sessions in only three months since our full-fledged product launch. We couldn’t have asked for greater partners than our existing investors, who bring a wealth of expertise and strategic vision to the table. The additional funding will be used to expedite product development, grow our content, and extend our creator base to provide our learners with unique learning experiences.”
Habbit was created with two goals in mind: one, to assist learners to upskill to become creators, and two, to inspire individuals to have a hobby, a leisure habit, or a meaningful interest that offers them a respite from their daily grind.
Learners can choose one-on-one tutoring for a more individualized learning experience, or they can join a small group of enthusiastic students on a fun-filled trip lead by expert mentors. Learners can also attend brief one-time seminars or workshops to acquire a skill in a group setting. Learners may be a part of a community of like-minded learners at Habbit, in addition to learning opportunities.
“With the globe continuing to experience the impacts of the pandemic, not only are individuals seeking for new ways to invest their time to prevent fatigue from our regular grind but also pursue it as a side or primary gig,” Raghav Goyal, Co-founder, Habbit, noted. Being a creator is rapidly becoming a fulfilling and sustainable career and way of life. You may explore your interest, find your tribe, exchange experiences, and form life-long friendships with Habbit.”
Art, music, design, gaming, fitness, dancing, and gardening are among the 42 talents offered by Habbit, which are divided into seven categories. The business intends to launch learning experiences in new era digital skills, self-care, culinary arts, and photography in the next months. The company claims to have interacted with 5,000+ students and performed 400+ training sessions to date.
